Rotary Club Lahti International (RCLI) is a diverse group of international and local professionals who want to make a positive impact in the Lahti region. Our club was created to give internationals an accessible entry point into community life and service.

Part of Rotary International
Our club is one of the clubs of Rotary International in Lahti region, District 1390
Rotary is an international service organization with high ethical standards working in more than 200 countries – it has over 1.2 million members. There are altogether a little over 230 clubs in Finland and Estonia with about 6800 members.
The foundations of Rotary organization are the local Rotary Clubs, which gather like-minded influential people together to do good in their communities. Clubs invite male and female professionals of good standing in their communities to join the club. The clubs have regular meeting times and at the meetings members, who come from different vocational groups, give talks on topical issues and invite guest speakers.
Rotary is known for its worldwide youth exchange program and youth leadership program. In almost every relatively big community Rotary has an exchange program for local high school students, which sends students abroad and receives foreign students to the community.
The best-known Rotary project is the eradication of polio from the world.
